Who Are We
Founded in 1994, Creative Iron specialises in the design and manufacture of custom-made works of art from wrought iron, crystals, glass, wood, and LED lighting.
At the cutting edge of innovative ideas and limited only by your imagination, Creative Iron transforms everyday items into stunningly beautiful additions to your home, office and garden.
Founder of Creative Iron, artisan and blacksmith, Craig Guerin, began his career in decorative wrought iron at the age of 17 years. Craig gained early experience working on prestigious houses in areas such as Toorak, South Yarra and the CBD of Melbourne.
Our Mission
Having recently visited family in beautiful, tropical Darwin, Craig made the decision that this was where his future would be and so began Darwin based Creative Iron.
With over 30 years’ experience in the creation of decorative wrought iron beauty, elegance and superior craftsmanship have become synonymous with the Creative Iron trademark. Craig’s work can now be seen in so many places all across Darwin, the rural area, Katherine and other NT locations. Craig’s work can also be seen appearing at interstate locations, in particular, on Sydney’s north shore harbour homes.
With skilful precision Craig has perfected the intriguing unison of the age old craft of blacksmithing with the cutting edge and contemporary ideas of the modern day to create aesthetically pleasing designs of sheer elegance.
Our 6-D Process
01.
Discover
Finding Creative Iron’s capabilities and incorporation of other elements , think about what you would like. This being inclusion of lighting , glass , wood, or stone.
02.
Define
Describe what you want created , the style you are after and what appeals to you. Also sending photos of where your product is to be fitted if needed with dimensions helps in the next process.
03.
Design
Can be something you have seen on our website. Or send a draft sketch of you own ideas . If you are not sure what you are after you can send images of what you like , then these can be adapted to suit your particular application.
04.
Develop
Once your design has been finalized it will be priced . Then if approved it will be started at the advised date. As it is being made you will be sent photos showing its progress. At this stage sometimes different aspects may be revealed. If it’s changes are desired it can be done.
05.
Deploy
At this point your job manufacturing process is finished ready for either us to fit , or sent to your location for others to install.
06.
Deliver
If your job is in another state and being installed by us , this will be done at time agreed . If you are organizing install , you will be sent tracking details of your consignment . Once it arrive at your local freight depot you will be contacted to arrange final delivery time .
